Shipping policy

Geography:
We currently offer shipping across Canada and the United States through trusted shipping partners to ensure your order is handled with care. Please note that we do not currently ship to Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, or Yukon.
Cost:
We offer free standard shipping on orders over $100 CAD within Canada and over $125 USD within the United States.
Orders below these thresholds are subject to the following standard shipping fees:

$8.95 CAD for Canadian orders

$15.00 USD for U.S. orders
U.S. customers may also select Priority Express Shipping for a flat rate of $39.00 USD, regardless of order value. This service provides faster delivery and is not eligible for free shipping promotions. For refunds (according to our Refunds and Return Policy), the standard shipping fee and any applicable taxes will be deducted from the final return amount.
U.S. Customs/Duties:
For all U.S. orders, applicable duties are shown at checkout. While a White House executive order issued on November 13, 2025 announced that green tea, including matcha and hojicha, is no longer subject to tariffs, this exemption does not currently apply to international mail shipments.
As a result, a 10% tariff is currently collected during checkout for remittance to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). This amount covers all applicable tariffs and brokerage fees, so there will be no surprise charges upon delivery.
Timeline:
We strive to ship orders as quickly as possible. You can expect a shipping confirmation email within 1–2 business days after placing your order.
Delivery timelines shown at checkout are estimates only and may vary due to factors such as promotional periods, holidays, or carrier delays.
Delivery Assistance & Support:
We do our best to make sure every order arrives safely and on time. Once your package leaves our facility, it’s in the hands of our trusted delivery partners. If your order shows as delivered but you haven’t received it, we recommend first checking with neighbours, your local post office, and/or a designated pickup location included in your tracking.
While Emeri isn’t responsible for lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages once marked as delivered, our team is always happy to help guide you through the next steps with the carrier and provide any information needed to file a claim or locate your order.
If an order is returned to us because it was not picked up from a designated location, postal office, or delivery point within the carrier’s holding period, Emeri will cover the cost incurred for the return shipment, and the customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipping the package back to their delivery address. We’ll always notify you before resending your order and confirm the additional shipping fee at that time.
